Concrete pump mate — Calvert County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Calvert County, Maryland. You will be based on a building construction site. What we are looking for: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds On the job you will handle: • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
