Immediate opening: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Pope County, Minnesota. The job is at a garment factory. The role involves spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments. Requirements: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
