Gang bricklayer — Scott County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Scott County, Illinois. You will work at a residential building site. On a typical shift you will pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder. What we are looking for: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
