Concrete labourer — East Baton Rouge Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete labourer in East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana. You will be based on a road and bridge project. The role involves fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing. Ideal candidate: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works Full-time, day shift.
