Butcher — Owen County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a butcher in Owen County, Kentucky. You will work in a supermarket meat department. What we are looking for: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling The role involves: • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Season and marinate meat on request Pay around $18 per hour, based on your experience.
