Now hiring: we are hiring a laundry presser in Elko County, Nevada. The job is in a garment export house. You should have: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Day to day you will set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
