Immediate opening: structural MIG welder (Arkansas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Madison County, Arkansas. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Requirements: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently The role involves: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
