Trowel-trade bricklayer • Auglaize County, Ohio

We are recruiting: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Auglaize County, Ohio. You will work on a scaffolded high-rise site. Day-to-day duties: • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Six days a week, one day off.
