Port container crane operator — Passaic County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Passaic County, New Jersey. You will read and interpret the load chart before every lift; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL). You should have: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Strong attention to safety and load limits Full-time, day shift.
