We are recruiting: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Macomb County, Michigan. Day-to-day duties: • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge You should have: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently $5,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
