We are recruiting: conventional mill operator (Maine)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Penobscot County, Maine. You will work in a CNC machining unit. What we are looking for: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience Day to day you will deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm. 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer $19 per hour plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
