Argon welder — Bukkuyum

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Bukkuyum, Zamfara State. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
