Scaffolding erector — Stephenson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a scaffolding erector in Stephenson County, Illinois. You will be based at a shipyard. On the job you will handle: • Handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Able to read basic scaffold drawings • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment 1+ years on the tools preferred.
