Now hiring: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Jones County, Iowa. You should have: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Your main tasks: • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length Pay around $3,000 per month, based on your experience.
