Lawn care technician — Greene County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lawn care technician in Greene County, North Carolina. The job is at a plant nursery. You should have: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules On the job you will handle: • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines Full-time with occasional weekends.
