Precision welder — Henry County

Now hiring: we are hiring a precision welder in Henry County, Virginia. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Day-to-day duties: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
