We are recruiting: we are hiring a pressman in DeKalb County, Georgia. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. Requirements: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Day-to-day duties: • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents 3+ years on the tools preferred.
