Now hiring: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Hitchcock County, Nebraska. You will work at a busy garment factory. Day to day you will stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance 5+ years on the tools preferred.
