Immediate opening: shrink wrap operator (New York)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shrink wrap operator in Richmond County, New York. You will be based in a food packaging factory. Day to day you will strap and band pallets ready for loading; weigh and portion products before bagging; shrink-wrap trays and stretch-wrap finished pallets; change over film rolls and reset the heat sealer; separate rejects and re-pack faulty units; stack and arrange goods onto pallets for dispatch. Ideal candidate: • Able to follow health and safety procedures • Understanding of basic food hygiene for food packing Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
