Join our team: we are hiring a foundry operative in Austin County, Texas. You will work in the melting bay of a steel foundry. The role involves inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles. Requirements: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours.
