Immediate opening: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Union County, Ohio. On a typical shift you will check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board. Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Full-time, day shift.
