Formwork carpenter — Grimes County

Join our team: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Grimes County, Texas. You will work on a busy high-rise construction site. You will read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints. Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Able to read formwork and structural drawings 3+ years on the tools preferred. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
