Lorry driver wanted in Upshur County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lorry driver in Upshur County, West Virginia. You will be based at a container freight yard. Your main tasks: • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
