Blocklayer • Ouray County, Colorado

Great opportunity: we are hiring a blocklayer in Ouray County, Colorado. You will be based at a renovation and extension job. Your main tasks: • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently 6+ years on the tools preferred. $25 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
