Vacuum press operator — Malheur County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Malheur County, Oregon. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. The role involves: • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Performance bonus on top of base pay.
