Reinforcement steel fixer — Franklin County

Join our team: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Franklin County, Vermont. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Your main tasks: • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length What we are looking for: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Rotating shifts.
