RCC mason — Labette County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a RCC mason in Labette County, Kansas. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Day-to-day duties: • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour Requirements: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $4,400 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
