Trowel-trade bricklayer — Jefferson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Jefferson County, Oregon. Day to day you will installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod. Requirements: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
