Head butcher • Wake County, North Carolina

We are recruiting: we are hiring a head butcher in Wake County, North Carolina. You will work in a hotel or restaurant butchery. On the job you will handle: • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain Ideal candidate: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $3,500 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
