Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. You should have: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) The role involves: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job 3+ years on the tools preferred.
