Foundry worker — Greene County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry worker in Greene County, Tennessee. Your main tasks: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
