Join our team: tile setter (Texas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tile setter in Victoria County, Texas. The role involves: • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even • Cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency What we are looking for: • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $130 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
