Lathe operator — Shelby County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lathe operator in Shelby County, Kentucky. The job is at an injection moulding unit. On the job you will handle: • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels You should have: • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
