CNC mill setter-operator wanted in Lake County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a CNC mill setter-operator in Lake County, Illinois. The job is in a die and mould making unit. Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade On a typical shift you will apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery.
