Vacancy available: fabricator-welder (West Virginia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Nicholas County, West Virginia. You will be based at an automotive body and exhaust shop. The role involves read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
