Steam press operator • Major County, Oklahoma

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steam press operator in Major County, Oklahoma. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. You will shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron. Requirements: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings 4+ years on the tools preferred.
