Join our team: we are hiring an estate gardener in Goronyo, Sokoto State. The job is in a botanical garden. Requirements: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Day-to-day duties: • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
