Join our team: we are hiring a tyre fitter in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. You will work at a car service centre. Ideal candidate: • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer The role involves: • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench • Jack up vehicles safely and set them on axle stands • Vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres • Rotate tyres front-to-rear as per the service schedule • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights • Repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $23 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
