Backhoe loader operator wanted in Linn County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Linn County, Iowa. The job is on a busy construction site. On a typical shift you will top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; check for underground cables and services before digging. What we are looking for: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence 3+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours.
