Tig welder — Hancock County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tig welder in Hancock County, Tennessee. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) On a typical shift you will feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
