Earthmoving equipment operator — Pope County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Pope County, Illinois. Ideal candidate: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine You will grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site. 1+ years on the tools preferred. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
