Blocklayer wanted in Clermont County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a blocklayer in Clermont County, Ohio. Day-to-day duties: • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters What we are looking for: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Pay around $230 per day, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
