Elevator technician — Guthrie County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an elevator technician in Guthrie County, Iowa. Day to day you will carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; run load and overload tests with test weights; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables. You should have: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics 1+ years on the tools preferred.
