Hoist operator — Lackawanna County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a hoist operator in Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania. You will be based in a steel fabrication workshop. On a typical shift you will carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL). Requirements: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) 5+ years on the tools preferred.
