Backhoe loader operator — Knott County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Knott County, Kentucky. The job is at a road-building project. You will level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; stockpile and spread material to the required levels; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels. Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Understanding of safe digging near underground services At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
