Elevator repair technician • Runnels County, Texas

We are recruiting: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Runnels County, Texas. You will be based at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Your main tasks: • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays Requirements: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Part-time with flexible hours. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
