Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Gladwin County, Michigan. What we are looking for: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Day-to-day duties: • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles Pay around $32 per hour, based on your experience.
