Urgent requirement: stitching operator (Iowa)

Now hiring: we are hiring a stitching operator in Bremer County, Iowa. You will work in a textile and apparel unit. Ideal candidate: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching On the job you will handle: • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line Rotating shifts.
