Vacancy available: power float operator (Illinois)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a power float operator in Lake County, Illinois. You will be based at an infrastructure site. Day-to-day duties: • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout Requirements: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE 3+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $5,400 per month plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
