Elevator technician — Whiteside County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator technician in Whiteside County, Illinois. Your main tasks: • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands You should have: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work 6+ years on the tools preferred.
